How to Find and Download Your Needed Device Drivers

How to Find and Download Your Needed Device Drivers

Sometimes it is a hassle to find those pesky drivers that your device needs, specially if you have lost your DVD drivers for it.

To be able to find the driver of your unknown devices, you may download on other PC the software which is called Unknown Device Identifier.

This nifty little software scans your presently installed device and gives you information about it.
After that all you have to do is to search for the driver on google.

However, there is  much better way to do it, but it requires you to download a much bigger file and probably needs to burn it on a DVD. It is called Driver Pack Solution, it is a pack or collections of frequently used drivers compressed in a DVD. The program will scan your devices and prompts you to install the scanned driver and update the ones which needed to be updated. It also includes some neat softwares and browser which a typical PC needs.

If all else fails, you need to use google to manually download the driver you need, you must enter the model of the device on google followed by the word "driver", you may add "WinXP 64bit", "Win7", you get the idea. Sometimes you just need to type in the manufacturer name followed by the word "driver support". See below samples:

Type this search terms on google:
a) realtek support driver winxp
b) realtek 8193 lan driver download win7

That's it! I hope you find the drivers that you need. You sometimes need to use other computers to find the drivers for your PC, if your LAN card isn't installed yet.
